10-Year ClipCar Warranty on Paint Protection Film
Our own warranty, issued by ClipCar. It covers the film and the labour for 10 years, and it is included with every PPF job at no extra cost.
When you protect your car with ClipCar, the warranty comes from us. We installed the film, so we stand behind it: if anything goes wrong with the film or the installation in the next 10 years, you call us and we fix it.
What is covered
- Lifting: film edges coming up from the paint.
- Bubbling: air or moisture pockets under the film.
- Yellowing: discolouration of the film over time.
- Film and labour: we cover the material and the work to correct or reinstall it.
- Duration: 10 years from installation.
- Cost: included with every PPF job, no extra charge.
What is not covered
Damage caused by accidents, misuse or improper maintenance, and changes made to the vehicle or the film after installation. When a covered issue is confirmed, the remedy is a correction or reinstallation of the affected film.
Why we give our own warranty
Film quality matters, and so does the installation. Most PPF problems come from prep and edge work, not from the roll of film. By warranting both film and labour ourselves, you have one place to call and one team accountable for the result.

How long is the ClipCar PPF warranty?
10 years from the date of installation, on every paint protection film job.
What does the warranty cover?
Both the film and our labour. If the film lifts, bubbles or yellows, we fix it or reinstall the affected panel.
Who issues the warranty?
ClipCar issues it directly. It is our own warranty, so any claim is handled by our team at the Scarborough studio. You do not deal with a third party.
Does the warranty cost extra?
No. The 10-year ClipCar warranty is included with every PPF installation at no extra cost.
Is this the XPEL manufacturer warranty?
No. We install XPEL Ultimate Plus film, and the warranty on your installation is issued by ClipCar. It covers the film and the labour.
What is not covered?
Damage from accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, or changes made to the vehicle or film after installation.
How do I make a claim?
Call or message us at (437) 494-5058 or email info@clipcar.ca with photos of the panel. We book you in to inspect it at the studio and correct or reinstall the film.
